Can A Licence Be Transferred?
In certain circumstances such as the death, physical or mental incapacity or bankruptcy of the holder of a licence or any professionally competent partner or transport manager the Department may be able to allow you, your successors, etc, some time to keep the business running before a new licence is needed.
However, the Department must be told of the change of circumstances within 28 days. If notification is not made to the Department within the period then no flexibility is possible and a new licence will be required.
