What Do I Do If There Are Changes In The Business?
Licences are not normally transferable. If changes are made in a business which affect, in law, the identity of that business, a new Licence must be applied for.
The Department must be told in writing:
- of any change in the control of the business
- of any change in the address of the business
- of any change in the name of the business
- of any change affecting professionally competent partners or nominated transport managers
- if the Licence holder, or any director or partner, is declared bankrupt
- if the company goes into insolvent liquidation
- if the Licence holder, or any professionally competent partner or nominated transport manager dies, leaves the business, is convicted of any offence or can no longer carry out his/her duties effectively (due to physical disability or mental disorder).
