What Do I Do If There Are Changes In The Business?

Licences are not normally transferable. If changes are made in a business which affect, in law, the identity of that business, a new Licence must be applied for.

The Department must be told in writing:

  1. of any change in the control of the business
  2. of any change in the address of the business
  3. of any change in the name of the business
  4. of any change affecting professionally competent partners or nominated transport managers
  5. if the Licence holder, or any director or partner, is declared bankrupt
  6. if the company goes into insolvent liquidation
  7. if the Licence holder, or any professionally competent partner or nominated transport manager dies, leaves the business, is convicted of any offence or can no longer carry out his/her duties effectively (due to physical disability or mental disorder).
