Road Freight Vehicle Operators
This guide is designed to set out answers to some of the questions about the road freight vehicle licensing system. It explains how to apply for a Road Freight Operator's Licence and describes how the licensing system works.
Please note that the guide is meant to be a helpful source of reference - it is not a legal document.
NOTE: Application for an operator licence should be applied for TWO MONTHS before you require a licence. Failure to do so may lead to prosecution for carrying goods for reward without a Road Freight Vehicle Licence.
