What Is Meant By 'Operating Centres'?
An operating centre is the place where your vehicles are normally kept when not in use.
Vehicles must not be parked overnight on public roads. You must therefore own or have permission to use a suitable operating centre.
The application form asks you for the address of your centre so it can be inspected to make sure it is suitable for your vehicles, taking account of the size, location and means of access.
The grant of an Operator's Licence does not mean that you have planning approval for your operating centre.
If you have any doubts you should contact your local Planning Office.
