Licences Issued Before 01/04/99
You will automatically be sent a DL1R reminder form approximately 2 months before your licence is due for renewal. This will be sent to the address held in our records, so it is important that you tell us if you change address. You must complete this form and return it along with your paper driving licence and photographic counterpart, a passport sized photograph taken against a plain light background (photograph criteria - digital photographs are not acceptable) and the appropriate fee if applicable (list of renewal fees). Send your completed application, photograph and fee to Driver Licensing. You must also enclose original documentation confirming your identity (list of acceptable identity documents).
