Photocard Licence Holders (issued since 01/04/99)

You will automatically be sent a DL1R reminder form approximately 2 months before your licence is due for renewal. This will be sent to the address held in our records, so it is important that you tell us if you change address. Please note this is a courtesy on the Agency's behalf and we are not obliged to issue reminders. You must complete this form and return it along with your photocard driving licence and paper counterpart, a passport sized photograph taken against a plain light background (acceptable photograph criteria - digital photgraphs are not acceptable ) and the appropriate fee if applicable (list of renewal fees).

Note: Photocard Licence Holders - If your name has changed since your photocard licence was issued, you must also enclose original documentation confirming your change of name. The documented evidence you provide must show a clear link between the name on your identity document and your current name.
