Driving licence fees
Note: These fees take effect from 16th November 2009
If you are disqualified, and have to take another driving test, you
normally have to pay £65.00 for a provisional licence. You will
not have to pay to upgrade your provisional licence to a full licence
after passing the test.
If you are disqualified for an alcohol-related offence and regarded as a High Risk Offender (HRO) you will
have to pay a higher fee of £90. DVA will also make medical enquiries before your driving licence can be
re-issued. The cost of this medical assessment is £85.50. This is in addition to the £90.00 fee for your licence.
Both fees must be paid by you at the time of your application.

section.
