DVLNI Medical Advisers based in the Northern Ireland Civil Service Occupational Health Service, assess whether drivers who have medical conditions are able to satisfy the medical standards required for safe driving.
Doctors may enquire in writing, or may speak to one of the medical advisers during office hours , to seek advice about a particular patient or about fitness to drive in general.
