Removing Expired Endorsements
Photocard Licence Holders
If you wish to have expired endorsements removed from your driving licence you must complete a DL1 application form (available from most Post Offices, Local Vehicle Licensing Offices or directly from DVLNI by calling 0845 402 4000 and enclose your photocard licence and paper counterpart together with the appropriate fee. Note: Photocard Holders – If your name has changed since your photocard licence was issued, you must also enclose original documentation confirming your new name. There is no need to supply a new photograph. Send your completed application, identity documents and fee to
