The Data Protection Act gives you the right to find out the data we hold about you.
DVLNI is registered to use the information held on the computer system to:
- Register and Licence vehicles
- Enforce the law and road safety
- Help the police to prevent crime
Provided DVLNI is satisfied that there is a reasonable cause to enquire, you may make a personal enquiry of the record, for a fee of £10, quoting your full name and address and the registration mark of the vehicle(s) you wish to check, and the reason why you want the information by writing to :
